      Prof.Allan Carrington is an Instructional Designer with the Centre for Learning and Professional Development at the University of Adelaide in South Australia and has a background in printing,publishing,web development and educational multimedia.As well he has worked in learning and teaching in the VET sector and higher education.Allan has led schools(courses)in Hawaii and Texas USA,as well as Paraguay.He has taught in communications,marketing and research,print production and using the Internet for education.He has a Masters of Interactive Multimedia and a Diploma of Technology in Management.as well is in his final subject for his Masters of Education in Online Delivery.Allan's areas of interest include online collaboration and facilitation to build online learning communities;situational learning and e-simulations;live e-learning and multiple venue presentations(webinars)using the virtue classrooms.He is also quickly developing a passion for educational podcasting.
